Here's how to execute the "Easy Flop Shot":
Ok, you've gotten a great second shot on this par 5 butt you hit the
backside of this little hill, Now you have a flop shot to make. Time to
get rid of that fear of blading or chunking this shot. Similar to a bunker
shot let the club do all the work.
- Start with the set up. You need to have an open stance this allows
you to sweep across the ball helping to avoid that nasty divot.
- Now open your club face and aim it at your target. It is very simple.
- From here take the club to the top of your swing, swing along your
body line and let the club fall to the ground, the entire time letting
the club do all the work. Make sure that your follow through is taken
all the way back up to the top.
Concentrate and be very relaxed. let the club do the work and soon you
will be seeing big big results in your short game.
